Mikhail Fomichev, participant of liberation of Czechoslovakia, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, honorary citizen of Prague. Tanks of 63rd Guards tank brigade under command of colonel Mikhail Fomichev were the first to enter Prague. On 1969 Mikhail Fomichev took the position of general-inspector of the Inspector General's department of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. Mikhail Fomichev retired on 1972.
