The Yakut ASSR. Laying tracks in the eastern section of the Amur-Yakut Mainline that links the Trans-Siberian Mainline (Transsib) with the Baikal-Amur Mainline. The Bamovskaya-Tynda-Berkakit-Neryungri Line linking the main BAM line with Transsib is unofficially called the Smaller BAM. The Smaller BAM has now become part of the Amur-Yakut Mainline.
