On August 11, 2016, the monument To Arctic Explorers was unveiled in a public garden in Murmansk . Its central section features a unique composition, namely, a hemisphere with the image of the Northern Sea Route, silhouettes of oceans and continents. It also has information standards narrating the history of the Arctic's exploration.
