On May 13, 1982, the Soyuz T-5 spacecraft with cosmonauts Anatoly Berezovoi and Valentin Lebedev on board was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome (Kazakhstan). It was the first manned Soviet space expedition to the Salyut-7 orbital research station launched into orbit in April 1982.
