Mr. Punyasena from Sri Lanka won the contest of distributors of Novosti Press Agency's magazine (now Rossiya Segodnya International News Agency) Soviet Life ("Country of Soviets"). The Lankan guest in the Armenian SSR during a visit to he Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts in Yerevan.
