Lutsk, a city in western Ukrainian SSR, the administrative center of the Volyn Region. The Cathedral of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul is one of the most valuable architectural monuments in the city, and one of the most significant Catholic shrines in Volyn, built in the 17th century. Designed by architects Giacomo Briano and Benedetto Molli. An active Roman Catholic cathedral, the church of the Lutsk Diocese.
