Ivolginsky datsan Khambyn Sume in the village of Verkhnyaya Ivolga. Pictured: Buryat lamas and visitors from Sri Lanka. In the 1960-1970s, Buryat artist Danzan Dondokov (1895-1983) worked at canvasses for the Ivolginsky datsan. The 1972 fire in the datsan destroyed about 40 works by the artist.
