Novosti Press Agency (now Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency) was a Soviet information and propaganda agency focusing on foreign propaganda and shaping a positive image of the Soviet Union, Soviet people and lifestyle. The agency had its own publishing department, Novosti, producing over 200 books and brochures a year with a circulation of around 20 million copies.
