

The Vladimir Lenin house in the Kashino Village, Volokolamsky District, Moscow Region. On November 14, 1920 Vladimir Lenin came to Kashino to inaugurate a power plant. The power plant was built on the funds of an agricultural partnership by the inhabitants themselves in their own time from a telegraph wire that had not been used for a long time. The dynamo was made in Moscow. It was in Kashino that Lenin screwed the first Soviet light bulb into the socket.
