

Tatar ASSR. The building of Kazan State University named after V.I. Ulyanov-Lenin (currently Kazan/Volga Federal University). Founded in 1804, Kazan State University is among Russia's oldest universities. The construction of the university buildings began in 1822 after a design project by architect P.G. Pyatnitsky.
