The Northern Shelter tourist camp on the northern slope of the Greater Caucasus Range near the high-altitude Dombai town. This small anchor base is located 2,025 meters above sea level on the bank of the Klukhor River. Teams of mountain climbers set out from the camp and climb Elbrus peaks in the Karachai-Circassian Autonomous Region.
