

Pushkin places of Moscow. House on Zubovsky Boulevard (called Zemlyanoy Val in time of Alexander Pushkin), where actress Yekaterina Semyonova, "the queen of the Russian scene", as Pushkin called her, used to live. The poet has repeatedly visited the actress' house, as well as other numerous admirers of Ms. Semyonova, such as writer Aksakov, historian and publicist Pogodin, and publisher, literary critic Nadezhdin.
