

Soviet supplies of weapons, munitions and military equipment to Afghanistan. In September 1924, six R-1 reconnaissance airplanes were delivered by air from Tashkent to Kabul via the Hindu Kush Range. R-1 is the first Soviet mass-produced airplane designed by Nikolai Polikarpov.
