A Yak-130 combat training aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force lands on the airfield-grade part of the Minsk-Mahilou motorway that is 24 meters wide and 3.1km long, outside Minsk, Belarus. The highway strip is not equipped with navigation tools, which complicates the task for pilots.Using parts of highways as backup airfields is practiced as part of the tactical air force exercises in the run-up to the Belarusian-Russian strategic army drills.
