Tarusa Liberation Memorial for the local residents killed in the Great Patriotic War. It is shaled like a metal bayonet crowned with a laurel wreath and a scarlet ribbon. There is also a stela with names of five local recipients of the Hero of the Soviet Union title (V.Belyayev, A.Zhivov, A.Yeldyshev, G.Amelin, N.Sevryukov).
