Residents lay flowers to the spontaneous memorial on Lenin Square in memory of the victims of an An-26 deadly accident as Governor of Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov declared mourning in the region for three days due to the crash of the aircraft, in the village of Palana, Kamchatka Region, Russia. The plane bound from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky disappeared on July 6, 2021 before the landing maneuver 9 kilometers from the locality of Palana. There were 28 people on board: six crew members and 22 passengers, including a child.
