Syrian actress Muksa Bitar in the Soviet-Syrian movie "Scheherazade's new fairytales," based on the collection of folk tales "One thousand and one nights" and filmed by Tajik director Takhir Sabirov at the Tajikfilm studio and Ganemfilm studio (Syria) in 1986. The filming took place in the Syrian cities of Palmyra and Damascus, the Uzbek city of Bukhara, Livadia Palace and the town of Bakhchysarai in Crimea, and the two film studios' pavilions.
