An RSD-10 (SS-20) intermediate-range ballistic missile unit (SS-20) is eliminated in accordance with USSR-USA Treaty on the Elimination of Their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles (INF Treaty), which was signed on December 8, 1987. Head of operations to eliminate missiles, Col. Oleg Medvedev, gives comments to foreign observers at the Kapustin Yar test site.
