Before the ceremony of transferring archive documents and personal effects of two famous Russian compatriots, Nikolai Baratov and Anatoly Rakityansky, at the Museum of the Russian Abroad, part of the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad. In 1916-1917, Cavalry General Nikolai Baratov (1865-1932) commanded the Russian Expeditionary Force in Persia. Later, he established the Foreign Union of Russian Disabled Persons. Journalist, regional history expert, President of the Baltic Branch of the International Society of Pushkin Scholars and Editor in Chief of the Riga Bibliophile Almanac Anatoly Rakityansky contributed various publications to the library of the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad.
