

People attend a rally for the protection of women's rights in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Participants are protesting against the bride's kidnapping and the act of forcing women to marry. 27-year-old Aizada Kanatbekova was abducted by unknown persons on April 5. Relatives suggested that it could have been done by her friend with the purpose of forced marriage. Some of the protesters demand the resignation of the Interior Minister, Ulan Niyazbekov, as well as the prosecution of law enforcement officers for inaction.
