A candle and flowers are placed during an event held by representatives of architecture studio NRJA and MAD gallery to bid farewell to the World Trade Centre building, a former headquarters of Central Committee of Communist Party of Soviet Latvian Republic, in Riga, Latvia. The Latvian Ministry of Culture plans to build a new acoustic concert hall on the site of the Soviet-era building which is considered an architectural gem of modernism.
