A view shows the construction site of a new cross-border gas pipeline, which will connect the natural gas transmission systems of Poland and Lithuania, near the village of Soczewka, Poland. The pipeline, called Gas Interconnection Poland-Lithuania (GIPL), is due to be completed by December 2021 and will also give Finland, Estonia and Latvia access to pipeline gas from continental Europe.
