Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is due to fly a today's Pobeda Airlines flight from Berlin to Vnukovo Airport after receiving medical treatment in Germany. Navalny was hospitalized in Omsk and then transported to Germany after falling ill on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow in August 2020. The German government claimed to have evidence of his poisoning with a nerve agent from the Novichok group. According to Russia's prison service (FSIN), Navalny may face jail time upon arrival to Moscow for violating the terms of a 2014 suspended sentence he was handed on fraud charges.
