Russian Orthodox Metropolitan Vladimir of Vladivostok and Primorye region leaves Russian Navy corvette Aldar Tsydenzhapov after blessing during a ceremony for raising the naval flag to join Russian Pacific Fleet, at the Far Eastern port of Vladivostok, Russia. Sailor Aldar Tsydenzhapov was awarded the Gold Star of the Hero of the Russian Federation posthumously for his role in extinguishing the fire and preventing the explosion of the Russian Pacific Fleet destroyer Bystry on September 28, 2010.
