A picture shows the ruins of the destroyed drama theatre building in the town of Agdam, Azerbaijan. In July 1993, most of the region's territory came under the control of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and was, subsequently, incorporated into its Askeran region. According to the ceasefire agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Agdam region was transferred to the Republic of Azerbaijan after November 20, 2020.
