In this handout photo released by Azerbaijani Presidential Press Office, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visits the town of Agdam, Azerbaijan. The Agdam region used to be a part of Azerbaijan. In July 1993, most of the region's territory came under the control of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and was subsequently incorporated into its Askeran region. According to the ceasefire agreement in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Agdam region must be transferred to the Republic of Azerbaijan by November 20, 2020. Editorial use only, no archive, no commercial use.
