Local residents walk near a damaged house hit by the recent shelling, in the village of Alibeyli, Aghdam region, the self-proclaimed Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. Azerbaijan's Defence Ministry has accused Armenian armed forces of shelling civilian population points in the Aghdam region. The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh escalated on September 27, when Yerevan and Baku accused each other of provoking military hostilities.
