Residents wearing protective face masks disinfect some of settlements in Payung village at the foot of the Sinabung volcano in Karo, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The residents did this independently when they learned that one of the villagers was indicated to be infected with coronavirus ( COVID-19). Experts researched as many as 800 million people live and do their activities within 100 kilometers, or about 62 miles, of volcanic craters around the world.
