Uzbek SSR. President of Pakistan Mohammed Ayub Khan meets in Tashkent with Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri with mediation from Alexei Kosygin, the Prime Minister of the USSR. The building of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR on Lenin Square (currently Independence Square) was the venue for the talks.
