The Belarusian SSR. When the Great Patriotic War of 11941-1945 broke out, the children of Communists / political emigrants were relaxing at a Young Pioneer camp, affiliated with the International Society for Assisting Revolutionary Fighters, in Belarus. They were saved by residents of Novoyelnya village in the Grodno Region. Father Vasily performs a prayer of gratitude.
