A memorial complex dedicated to victims of the Leningrad Siege and troops of the Leningrad Frontline killed during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945), at the Piskaryovo Cemetery in Leningrad. Designed by Alexander Vasilyev and Yevgeny Levinson. Center: The Motherland, a six-meter bronze sculpture by Vera Isayeva and Robert Taurit. The memorial was unveiled on May 9, 1960.
