Kirov city. Photo: This monument-obelisk to local soldiers who gave their lives for the Motherland was installed on May 9, 1967 in memory of those killed at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. It was built to a design by sculptors F. A. Shpak and V. S. Ryazantsev and architect Y. I. Karmazin.
