

Kyrgyz Soviet Socialist Republic. Right: Jozef Thomasz, resident of Frunze and former member of Interhelpo (translated as "mutual aid"). Interhelpo was an industrial cooperative from Czechoslovakia that responded to Vladimir Lenin's call and volunteered to go to the territory where modern-day Kyrgyzstan is located, to build socialism. The cooperative mostly consisted of Czech, Slovak and Hungarian people. In 1925, Interhelpo was recognized the best cooperative in the Soviet Union. Julius Fucil Park in Frunze (now Bishkek).
