The pedestrian Park Bridge spans the Dnieper River in Kiev in the Ukrainian SSR and links the city's central districts with a park zone and beaches on Trukhanovy Island. It was built in 1956-1957 to a design by experts from the Ukrproyektstalkonstruktsiya Institute in collaboration with the Paton Electric Welding Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, now the Paton Electric Welding Institute.
