Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido and lawmaker Stalin Gonzalez start the session of opposition lawmakers to vote for a new board of the National Assembly at a local newspaper headquarters in Caracas, Venezuela. Venezuela's opposition leader Juan Guaido lost his seat as the president of the National Assembly to Luis Parra in a Sunday vote. Guaido, who proclaimed himself Venezuela's interim president in a failed attempt to oust legitimate head of state Nicolas Maduro a year ago, did not take part in the voting session. Opposition lawmakers later voted to reelect Guaido to the post.
