Roscosmos Head Dmitry Rogozin visits a construction site of the Angara launch complex at the Vostochny cosmodrome, some 180 km north of the Far Eastern city of Blagoveschensk, Amur region, Russia. The Vostochny spaceport was opened in 2016. The first stage is almost completed and includes a launchpad for Soyuz rockets, which already regularly lift off from the cosmodrome. The second stage of its construction, which includes the launchpad for Angara-family rockets, is now underway and must be completed in 2022 in order to prepare for the first launch the following year.
