Luna Fenner was born with giant congenital melanocytic nevus, covering her face with the shape of a Batman mask or a butterfly. Surgeon Dr. Pavel Popov read about Luna in a local newspaper and stepped forward to offer her mother surgery not available in the United States, so they traveled to the city of Krasnodar to get treatment at a laser clinic.
