The Small Crown of the Russian Empire, one of the main regalia of the Russian Empire's monarchs, was manufactured in 1856 by jeweler L. Seftigen for the coronation of Empress Maria Alexandrovna, the wife of tsar Alexander II. The silver crown features 48 large (2-9-karat) and 200 tiny cut diamonds. It is displayed at a permanent exhibition of the Diamond Fund of the USSR, now the Diamond Fund of Russia, at the Kremlin's Armory.
