Muscovites at a memorial stand dedicated to Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, Soviet pilot and cosmonat, Hero of the Soviet Union, who died on March 27, 1968, in an airplane crash. The stand was installed outside the House of Friendship with Foreign Peoples (now Reception House of the Russian Government) in Kalinin Prospekt (now Vozdvizhenka Street).
