

The Georgian SSR. A cup found in the ancient town of Armazi not far from modern Tbilisi and dating to the 1st-6th centuries AD on display at the Simon Janashia Georgian Museum, now affiliated with the Georgian National Museum. it was manufactured by craftsmen from the Kingdom of Iberia, part of ancient Georgia, the easternmost province of the Roman Empire.
