A zoo employee Vlada Zapolskaya walks with the red fox Ralf at the Royev Ruchey Zoo, in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Zapolskaya specializes in taming wild animals and adapting them to human interaction. Ralf was born at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics (ICG) in Novosibirsk, which has been experimented on fox domestication through long-term selection and breeding for more than 50 years.
