

The three-mast sailing-motor schooner Zarya on Neva River in the city of Leningrad. The ship was built in Finland in the shipyard of the port of Turku in 1952 at the order from the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Zarya is the world's only non-magnetic vessel used to study Earth's magnetic field, with scientists of the Academy's Institute of Terrestrial Magnetism, Ionosphere and Radio Wave Propagation involved in the work.
