A 17th century golden cup with four large precious stones (two emeralds and two sapphires) made by Moscow's jewelers. In 1653, Patriarch Nikon presented the cup to Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich as a re-conciliatory gesture, as evidenced by the inscription on its broad top section. From collection of the Moscow Kremlin's Armory.
