RIA Novosti Ukraine news portal head Kirill Vyshinsky, released by the Ukrainian court, speaks to the media upon his arrival from Kiev to Moscow at the Vnukovo airport, outside Moscow, Russia. Russia and Ukraine began work on the simultaneous release of detained and convicted persons in the end of the summer. Kiev's appellate court ruled on August 28 to release Kirill Vyshinsky on bail immediately from the courtroom. Vyshinsky has been arrested and jailed in Ukraine for over 400 days since May 2018 on suspicion of supporting the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics and high treason.
