Workers unload parts of WWII Soviet Tupolev Tu-2 bomber aircraft at Novosibirsk State Technical University, in Novosibirsk, Russia. This aircraft was supposedly used by Soviet Air Force until 1949 and then continued its active service at Chinese Air Force. After decommissioning, it was disassembled and stored dismantled at the American War Eagles Air Museum but never displayed. In summer 2019 the plane was redeemed by the Russian "Wings of Victory" foundation and brought back to its homeland where it will be the only Tu-2 bomber in flying condition when the restoration process is over.
