In this handout photo released by the Defense Department of the US, a test medium-range ground-launched cruise missile exits its ground mobile launcher at the US Navy-controlled San Nicolas Island off the coast of Los Angeles, California, United States. A missile hit its target after more than 500 km (310 miles) of flight, it was the first such test since the United States pulled out of the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) that was signed between the United States and the Soviet Union on December 8, 1987.
