Children collect gold dust in a street of the town of El Callao, some 650 km south east of capital Caracas, Venezuela, to obtain some gold after amalgamation and to sell what they get. The Gold Rush revived in southern Venezuela due to two factors: the economic crisis facing the country since 2015 and the government's commitment to mining as nation whose revenues on 90 percent depends on hydrocarbon sales faces the fall in oil production.
