The Belarusian SSR. Photo: Re-instituted on December 22, 1944, the Cross of the Brave military award is a state award of the Polish Republic. Service personnel of the 1st Andrzej Kościuszko Polish Infantry Division who distinguished themselves during fighting near the village of Lenino in the Mogilyov Region (October 12-13, 1943) were the first to receive these awards.
