A cat sits on the porch of an old wooden house in the village of Kinerma, some 100 km north west of Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia. The historical village of Kinerma is a monument of wooden architecture of Livvik Karelians and a living example of the traditional settlement in Karelia.
