Honour guards salute during a ceremony to commemorate the memory of militia members killed during the Debaltsevo battle, Eastern Ukraine. In February 2015 after a month of fierce fighting militias of self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) completely encircled the strategic regional railway hub at the town of Debaltsevo with thousands of Ukrainian government troops trapped, killed and surrendered.
